Interregional Children's Fund –“PHILOSOPHY FOR CHILDREN” Children" was created in 2004. There are 7 regional branches in the organization (Moscow, Rostov- na-Donu , Lipetsk, Chelyabinsk (2 groups), Ecaterinburg, Hkarkov) operate, two initial organizations (Moscow Pedagogical College N5, the family club "Socrat's school"), it is going to creatt of branches in Kursk, Omsk etc. cities of Russia and the CIS goes on.
The purpose of our organization is association and optimization of efforts of teachers, psychologists, philosophers and all interested persons on development in Russia and the CIS "Philosophy with Children", existing in many countries of the world, in quality special branches of scientific and pedagogical activity. Philosophizing in this case is considered as an effective way of intellectual and creative education of children, moral education free from dogmatism , harmonizations of child-parental relations, formations of optimum mechanisms of dialogue CHILD - ADULT.
Feature of new created organization that children participate in it, since 8 years which are members of our association.
We are deeply sure, that fresh created organization will help many teachers and their pupils to find new forms and ways of the dialogue, new mechanisms of education of the independent creative person in each child, the teenager, the young man.
To long-term projects of the organization concern:
1. Continuation of work of family club "Socrat's school" in the Central House of Workers of Arts, the head – doctor of philosophy, proff. Retjunskih L.T. Bases of a technique are stated in L.T.Retjunskih's book "Socrates school. Philosophical Games ten years later. Moscow., 2003
2. Creation of the permanent center "Philosophy with Children" for teaching children and teachers by M.Limpana's technique and others method of philosophy with children. The head - Doctor of Philosophy Julina N.S., main principles of a technique are in Russian stated in N.Julina's books "Philosophy for Children. M., 1996; M.Dudina. Philosophy in a class. Ekaterinburg, 1995. etc.
Short-term projects are:
• The International conference "Philosophy with Children", January took place in 27-29, 2005 in Moscow (The Central House of Workers of Arts).
• A round table "Philosophy with Children"on IV Russian Philosophical Congress "Philosophy and the future civilization, May, 24-28, 2005.
• Competition "Children-philosophers", under the motto "Philosophy as a language interethnic and inter-confessional communication.
• Joint projects with other organizations, including the organization of special developing lessons, brain-trainings, realization of philosophical and psychological consultation, the edition of books and other printed products etc.
We shall be glad to cooperate with all persons and the organizations which are interested in.
